Michael Walek

Michael Walek, a graduate of Tuffs and the Art Museum School in Boston, paints plein air, locally and abroad. His works are observations of immediate atmospheric and color events. A whole other color palette appears with new locations. Gouache captures the subtle color hues, depicting light as it transitions over time. Gouaches are used as references to create larger acrylics in the studio.
