Workshop with Michael Walek: Gouache – The Other Watercolor
To be Rescheduled in October
Michael Walek will conduct a workshop in opaque watercolor/gouache focusing on a directional lit still-life of flowering plants with a background of a colorful carpet. The carpet color, seen between the flowers, will help create a sense of abstract composition. Thick watercolor medium can be substituted and used as gouache. Canson colored paper will be selected to create a general atmosphere of the painting. The gallery will provide some gouache, however students are requested to bring their own water-soluble gouache. (Not acrylic based.)
Registration Fee: $65
Note: A minimum of 6 participants is needed to run the workshop. You will be notified a week prior if the workshop is cancelled
