For Exhibiting Artists
All Exhibiting Artists are expected to sign up to “gallery sit” for 3-hour shifts twice each month. Training is provided; and, you are encouraged to bring a sketchbook to work on your own creative expression!

York Art is a volunteer-led organization, sustained by our members to support our mission. We look forward to working with you on behalf of the arts and the community we share.
One way to be engaged is to join the Gallery Associate Program. This initiative comprises a dedicated team of volunteers who help staff the gallery, engage with visitors, and assist with events and programs. The Gallery Associate Program offers training, field trips, social engagement and other benefits. If interested, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Sally Sulloway at volunteer@yorkart.org
Additional opportunities include helping with YAY Summer Arts Camp, Art in the Park, fundraising events, landscape care, and more.
